Highlights inequities in accessing SCS and novel harm reduction approaches to opioid use and overdose (iOAT, safer supply) in smaller settings. Proposes a number of novel strategies for addressing opioid overdose in rural and remote settings, which should be rigorously evaluated to better inform our approach to the OD emergency in smaller Canadian settings.
