These recommendations were written by a group of concerned addiction clinicians in Ontario, who came together under the leadership of META:PHI and Addiction and Mental Health Ontario’s Residential Treatment Community of Practice. They were written to dispel common myths and misconceptions surrounding OAT and to ensure that there is consistent guidance on OAT for programs across the province.
