Objective

Explore how harm reduction workers understand and experience their work, and how practice and training could be improved

Findings/Key points

An examination of the perspectives and experiences of frontline harm reduction workers in their current practice settings revealed the unique challenges of harm reduction practice, such as limited public and policy support, and suggested possibilities for the creation of harm reduction framework supports and structures that would more effectively meet the needs of both practitioners and drug users.
