Substance Use in the Trades: Harm Reduction

This course takes a harm reduction approach to substance use. Harm reduction is a health-oriented approach that aims to reduce the negative effects of using substances, without necessarily stopping or decreasing substance use itself. This approach maintains that people who use substances deserve dignity and respect and have the right to make their own choices. This course will explore how workplaces and workplace leaders can take a harm reduction approach to substance use and foster a healthier work environment.
